On Tuesday, in the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM received the Clerk of the Parliament, Mr Neil Laurie, for the presentation of two Bills for Assent: Environmental Protection (Efficiency and Streamlining) and Other Legislation Amendment Bill 2026, and Transport and Other Legislation (Managing E-mobility Use and Protecting Our Communities) Amendment Bill 2026.

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD hosted a Reception to mark the 80th Anniversary of diplomatic relations between Australia and the Philippines, and the Governor addressed guests.
