On Sunday, in the morning, at St James Cathedral, Townsville, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD attended the 31st Battalion Association Annual Commemorative Service and morning tea, and the Governor provided the First Reading.

Following, Professor Nimmo returned to Government House from Official Travel to Townsville City Council.

In the afternoon, at Belmont Shooting Complex, Professor Nimmo attended the 2025 Queensland Rifle Association State Championships and addressed guests.

Following, at Queensland Country Bank Stadium, Townsville, Her Excellency attended the North Queensland Cowboys v Knights match.

In the evening, Her Excellency returned to Government House from Official Travel to Townsville City Council.
