On Friday, in the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD departed for Official Travel to Cook Shire Council Region, Hope Vale Aboriginal Shire and Wujal Wujal Aboriginal Shire.  

 

In the afternoon, at Cooktown Multipurpose Health Centre, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo toured the facilities and met with staff.

 

In the evening, at Nature’s Powerhouse, Cooktown Botanic Gardens, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended the Cooktown Discovery Festival Banks Banquet Dinner and the Governor addressed the guests.
