On Wednesday, in the morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM received the Consul General of Bangladesh for New South Wales and Queensland, Mr Shelley Salehin.

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency greeted members of the public visiting for a guided tour of the House and gardens.

In the evening, at the residence of the Consul-General of Japan, Hamilton, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended a reception in celebration of the birthday of His Majesty the Emperor of Japan, and the Governor addressed guests.
