On Wednesday, in the morning, at Goondiwindi, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD hosted a Community Walk in partnership with Health and Wellbeing Queensland, and the Governor addressed guests. 

Following, at Goondiwindi State Primary School, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo toured the school, read a book to students, and the Governor addressed students and staff.

Following, at Goondiwindi Cinema and Theatre, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended a ‘Leadership Connect’ event, and the Governor addressed high school students.

At Government House, members of the Ipswich Probus Club visited for a guided tour of the House and gardens. 

In the afternoon, at Goondiwindi Cotton Farm, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo toured the farm and met with staff.

Following, at Goondiwindi Cotton Head Office, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended a working lunch with Mayor, Goondiwindi Regional Council, the Honourable Councillor Lawrence Springborg AM.

Following, at Goondiwindi Cotton Retail Shop, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo toured the fashion house and met with staff.

In the afternoon, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo returned to Government House from Official Travel to Goondiwindi Regional Council.
