On Sunday, in the morning, at the Longreach Cattle Yards, Longreach, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM, accompanied by Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD, officially opened the Great Australian Charity Cattle Drive and addressed guests.

In the evening, at Smithy’s Camp, Longreach, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo, as Patrons of Opera Queensland, attended the Festival of Outback Opera Ball.
