On Monday, in the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM hosted an Investiture Ceremony for the following recipients of Australian Honours and Awards announced in the 2026 Australia Day Honours List and December 2025 Distinguished Service Decorations Announcement: Warrant Officer Class Two Rick Scott CSC; Corporal Geoffrey Izod CSC; Mr Kerry Evans OAM; Mr John Forrest OAM RFD; Mr Norman Fry OAM; Mr Luke Harding OAM; Mr Scott Harris OAM; Mr Barry Kelly OAM; Mr Patrick Nunan OAM RFD; Mr Raymond Thomas OAM; Mr Milton West OAM RFD ED; Wing Commander Estevan Samanes OAM; presented the CSM and Bar: Major Justin Cross; Colonel Scott Revell CSM; Lieutenant Colonel Julian Fleming CSM; Warrant Officer Class One William Renwick CSM; Warrant Officer Kerrie-Anne Hammond CSM; Flight Sergeant Anthony Ahchow CSM; and presented the Commendation for Distinguished Service: Mr Dennis Townsend.
