On Saturday, in the morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM hosted an Open Day as part of Brisbane Open House 2025, for members of the public to visit the Estate and participate in guided tours of the House and gardens.

In the afternoon, at The Women’s College within The University of Queensland, St Lucia, Her Excellency attended the National Council of Women Queensland's 2025 Bursary Presentation, and the Governor addressed guests.

In the evening, at Suncorp Stadium, Milton, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD attended the Wallabies v The British & Irish Lions Rugby Championship.
