On Monday, in the afternoon, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD returned to Government House from Official Travel to Richmond Shire Council, Winton Shire Council, Flinders Shire Council, Boulia Shire Council, Barcoo Shire Council and Longreach Regional Council.

 Following, at Government House, Her Excellency received the Clerk of the Parliament, Mr Neil Laurie, for the presentation of three Bills for Assent: Crime and Corruption (Restoring Reporting Powers) and Other Legislation Amendment Bill 2025, Trusts Bill 2025, and Queensland Academy of Sport Bill 2025.

In the evening, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo hosted a dinner in support of the International Olympic Committee, and the Governor addressed guests. Guests included: the Honourable David Crisafulli MP and Mrs Tegan Crisafulli; the Honourable Jarrod Bleijie MP; the Honourable Tim Mander MP; Councillor Fiona Cunningham; Mr Thomas Bach; Mrs Kirsty Coventry; Dr Andrew Liveris AO and Mrs Paula Liveris; Mrs Mikaela Cojuangco Jaworski; Mr Christophe Dubi; Mr John Coates AC and Mrs Orieta Coates; Mr Ian Chesterman AM; and Ms Yolande Yorke.
