In the morning, at Brisbane Entertainment Centre, Boondall, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM attended the Wavell State High School Year 12 Graduation Ceremony, and the Governor addressed guests.

In the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency hosted a Reception in support of the Chief Executive Women Queensland Chapter, and the Governor addressed guests.
