On Friday, in the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM presided over a Private Investiture Ceremony for Ms Alexa Leary OAM, and the Governor addressed guests. 

In the evening, at Queensland Club, Brisbane City, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD attended the Queensland Club's Governors Dinner, and the Governor addressed guests.
