On Monday, at the Supreme Court of Queensland, Brisbane City, the Acting Governor of Queensland, the Honourable Chief Justice Helen Bowskill, received the Clerk of the Parliament, Mr Neil Laurie, for the presentation of A Bill for Assent for Coroners (Mining and Resources Coroner) Amendment Bill 2025.

Following, in the morning, at St John’s Cathedral, Brisbane City, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM was represented by Honorary Aide-de-Camp Senior Sergeant Melanie Wilkins APM at the Australia War Widows Queensland inaugural Field of Remembrance Service Honouring War Widows and The Fallen, who laid the first wreath on her behalf.
