Governor's Program

The Governor’s Official Program is comprised of a wide range of constitutional and legal duties and ceremonial and community engagements. Each year, the Governor hosts thousands of visitors to Government House to take part in investiture and award ceremonies, Open Days, receptions and meetings, and travels widely throughout Queensland to support the activities of Patron groups. On Wednesday, in the morning, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC and Mrs Kaye de Jersey received the Consul-General of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr Heru Hartanto Subolo, and Madam Sinta Ekawati Subolo, accompanied by Consul for Economic Affairs, Mrs Trisari Dyah Paramita

In the evening, at Government House, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey hosted a dinner in honour of retiring Commissioner, Queensland Police Service, Ian Stewart APM, and the Governor addressed guests. Guests included: Commissioner Ian Stewart APM and Mrs Carol Stewart; the Honourable Mark Ryan MP and Mrs Holly Ryan; Ms Rachel Hunter; Deputy Commissioner Stephan Gollschewski APM and Mrs Rebecca Gollschewski; Deputy Commissioner Tracy Linford APM and Mr Henry Graffen; Superintendent Mark Wheeler and Mrs Shelly Coughran; Inspector Nyree Whelan and Mr Sean Hanlen; Sergeant Glen Gunthorpe APM; Ms Kerri Smith; Mr Ben Stewart; Ms Rachel Stewart; Air Commodore Mark Gower AM LVO OAM (Mil) and Mrs Julie Gower; and Detective Inspector Melissa Anderson BM APM.
