Governor's Program

The Governor’s Official Program is comprised of a wide range of constitutional and legal duties and ceremonial and community engagements. Each year, the Governor hosts thousands of visitors to Government House to take part in investiture and award ceremonies, Open Days, receptions and meetings, and travels widely throughout Queensland to support the activities of Patron groups. On Tuesday, in the morning, at Parliament House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC officially opened the 50th Annual Presiding Officers and Clerks Conference, and the Governor addressed guests.

In the afternoon, at Government House, His Excellency and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted an afternoon tea for the Lev Vlassenko Competition and Festival, and the Governor addressed guests.

Following, in the afternoon, at Government House, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey received students from the Bundaberg State High School Girls Academy.
