Governor's Program

The Governor’s Official Program is comprised of a wide range of constitutional and legal duties and ceremonial and community engagements. Each year, the Governor hosts thousands of visitors to Government House to take part in investiture and award ceremonies, Open Days, receptions and meetings, and travels widely throughout Queensland to support the activities of Patron groups. On Wednesday, in the morning, at the Arthur Titley Centre, Charters Towers, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC attended the Isolated Children’s Parents’ Association Queensland’s 48th State Conference, and the Governor officially opened the conference, and addressed guests.

In the afternoon, His Excellency returned to Government House following official travel to Charters Towers.

In the evening, at Suncorp Stadium, Milton, His Excellency attended the Australian Rugby League 2019 Holden State of Origin Match 1.
