Governor's Program

The Governor’s Official Program is comprised of a wide range of constitutional and legal duties and ceremonial and community engagements. Each year, the Governor hosts thousands of visitors to Government House to take part in investiture and award ceremonies, Open Days, receptions and meetings, and travels widely throughout Queensland to support the activities of Patron groups. On Saturday, in the morning, at Gallipoli Barracks, Enoggera, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC attended and officially opened the Royal Queensland Regiment Annual Conference, and the Governor addressed guests.

Following, at Government House, His Excellency and Mrs Kaye de Jersey hosted a morning tea for Government House Alumni.

In the afternoon, at Government House, His Excellency welcomed members of the public to Open Day.

In the evening, at the Brisbane Club, Brisbane City, His Excellency and Mrs de Jersey attended the Royal Historical Society of Queensland's annual Queensland Day Dinner, and the Governor addressed guests.
