Governor's Program

The Governor’s Official Program is comprised of a wide range of constitutional and legal duties and ceremonial and community engagements. Each year, the Governor hosts thousands of visitors to Government House to take part in investiture and award ceremonies, Open Days, receptions and meetings, and travels widely throughout Queensland to support the activities of Patron groups. On Monday, in the afternoon, at Government House, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC CVO and Mrs Kaye de Jersey received Chairman, School Council, Anglican Church Grammar School, Mr Dan O'Connor OAM, Headmaster, Anglican Church Grammar School, Dr Alan Campbell, Australian Olympic Swimmer, Mr Zac Stubblety-Cook, Mrs Julie Stubblety-Cook and Ms Sophie Stubblety-Cook.

Following, at Government House, His Excellency received the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, the Honourable Curtis Pitt MP, accompanied by the Clerk of the Parliament, Mr Neil Laurie, Sergeant-at-Arms, Mr Michael Watkin, and Senior Parliamentary Officer (Bills and Research), Ms Leah Ilott for the presentation of two Appropriation Bills, for Royal Assent.
