On Saturday, in the morning, at Club Manly, Manly West, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD attended the Veteran Car Club of Australia (Queensland) 70th Anniversary Lunch, and the Governor addressed guests.

In the evening, at Queensland Performing Arts Centre, South Brisbane, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended the Queensland Symphony Orchestra performance of 'Maestro Concert 1 – Umberto’s Mahler 5'.

Following, at Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, South Brisbane, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended the Queensland Symphony Orchestra’s Season Opening Gala, and the Governor addressed guests.
