On Saturday, in the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD departed Government House for official travel to Toowoomba Regional Council.  

Following, at Toowoomba City Hall, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended the 75th Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers, Grand Central Floral Parade and the Governor addressed guests before joining the parade.  

In the afternoon, at Toowoomba City Hall, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers Mayoral Taste Toowoomba Reception.  

Following, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo returned to Government House from official travel to Toowoomba Regional Council. 

In the evening, at South Bank Parklands, South Brisbane, Her Excellency attended the Brisbane Festival Closing Ceremony.
