On Friday, in the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM departed Government House for Official Travel to Longreach Regional Council.

In the afternoon, at the Longreach Showgrounds, Her Excellency officially opened the 131st Longreach Annual Show.

In the evening, at the Longreach Showgrounds, Her Excellency received Mayor, Longreach Regional Council, Councillor Tony Rayner for a working dinner.

Following, at the Longreach Showgrounds, Her Excellency viewed the fireworks as part of the 131st Longreach Annual Show.
