On Monday, in the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM hosted a luncheon in support of the 2026 Queensland Rhodes Scholar selection committee and shortlisted candidates, and the Governor addressed guests.

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD received High Commissioner for Fiji, His Excellency Mr Ajay Amrit.

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo received Members of Parliament, and the Deputy Clerk and Sergeant-at-Arms of the Queensland Parliament, for the Presentation of the Address-in-Reply for the 58th Parliament of Queensland, and the Governor addressed guests.
