On Tuesday, in the morning, at Parliament House, Brisbane City, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM attended the Queensland Overseas Foundation Award Ceremony, and the Governor presented awards and addressed guests.

Following, at Government House, members of the Probus Club of Kenmore Gardens visited for a guided tour of the House and gardens. 

In the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency greeted members of IRT The Palms Retirement Resort visiting for a guided tour of the House and gardens. 

In the evening, at Royal on the Park Hotel, Brisbane City, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD attended the 11th National Men’s Shed Gathering Welcome Reception, and the Governor addressed guests.
