On Saturday, in the morning, at Blackwater International Coal Centre, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM, attended a morning tea with members of the community, and the Governor addressed guests.

Following, at Blackwater Multipurpose Health Service, Her Excellency received a briefing on operations, toured the facility and met with staff and patients. 

In the afternoon, Her Excellency departed Central Highlands Regional Council area for the Barcaldine Regional Council area.

Following, at Alpha Hospital and Multipurpose Health Service, Her Excellency received a briefing on operations, toured the facility and met with staff and patients.  

Following, at Clews Cattle Company Station, Alpha, Her Excellency received a briefing on operations and toured the facility.

 In the evening, Her Excellency returned to Government House from Official Travel to Central Highlands Regional Council.
