On Wednesday, in the morning, at Government House, members of Mt Gravatt Respite visited for a guided tour of the House and gardens. 

In the afternoon, at The Abedian School of Architecture, Bond University Gold Coast Campus, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM officially opened Gold Coast Open House 2025, and the Governor addressed guests.

Following, at Government House, members of Australian Garden History Society (Queensland Chapter) visited Government House for a guided tour of the gardens.

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency received Vice President, Reading Radio, Mr Rodney Banfield and Treasurer, Reading Radio, Ms Meg Venning.

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD hosted a Reception in support of Reading Radio's 40th Anniversary, and the Governor addressed guests.
