On Sunday, in the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD departed Government House for Official Travel to Townsville City Council and Hinchinbrook Shire Council.

In the evening, at A Touch of Salt, Townsville City, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo received Townsville City Council Mayor, Councillor Nick Dametto; Deputy Mayor, Councillor Suzy Batkovic and Mr Dan Ryder; and Chief Executive Officer, Mr Joe McCabe for a working dinner.
