On Wednesday, in the morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM greeted members of Southbank Tafe visiting for a guided tour of the House and gardens.  

In the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency greeted members of the public visiting for a guided tour of the House and gardens. 

Following, at Waterfront Place, Brisbane City, Her Excellency attended an event with the Honourable Dame Quentin Bryce AD CVO and Ms Elizabeth Broderick AO.  

In the evening, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD hosted a Dinner in support of Queensland Produce and Producers, and the Governor addressed guests. Guests included: Mr Graeme Bolton and Mrs Angie Bolton; Mrs Carolyn Davidson and Mr Lynn Davidson; Mr Damien Gan and Miss Umar Nguyen; Mr Sofian Kubler and Dr Paul Kubler; Mr Peter Marinos and Mr Dimitri Vasiliou; Mr Pedro Ramos and Mr Giorgio Comanducci; Mrs Kay Tommerup and Mr Dave Tommerup; Mr Aaron Wakeley and Mr Glen Steedman; Ms Yolande Yorke and Dr Ingrid Tall; and Mr Paul Newsham and Mrs Kim Newsham.
