On Tuesday, in the morning, at the Sporting Wheelies Clubhouse, Milton, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM toured the facility and met with staff, and the Governor addressed guests.

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency greeted students from TAFE Queensland visiting for a guided tour of the House and gardens. 

In the evening, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD hosted a Dinner in honour of Mr Tim Fairfax AC's retirement as President of the QAGOMA Foundation, and the Governor addressed guests. Guests included: Mr Tim Fairfax AC and Mrs Gina Fairfax AC; Ms Liz Pidgeon and Mr Graeme Wikman; Mr Paul Taylor; Mr Chris Saines CNZM and Mrs Amanda Saines; Emeritus Professor Ian O’Connor AC and Ms Anna Reynolds; The Honourable Martin Daubney AM KC and Mrs Rosemary Daubney; Mr Joseph O’Brien and Mrs Sarah O’Brien; Dr Sally Sojan and Dr Anthony Wilson; Mrs Anna Cottell and Mr Peter Cottell; Ms Mary-Jeanne Peabody; Ms Judy Mather; Ms Julie Walsh; Ms Dominique Jones; and Mr Scott Allen.
