On Wednesday, in the morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM greeted members of Renaissance Victoria Point visiting for a guided tour of the House and gardens. 

In the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency greeted members of Brisbane Botanic Gardens and Brisbane City Council High Profile Parks visiting for a guided tour of the gardens. 

In the evening, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD hosted a dinner in honour of Queenslanders recognised in the 2024 King's Birthday Honours List and the Governor addressed guests. Guests included: Dr John de Groot AM and Mrs Margot de Groot AM; Ms Elizabeth Taylor AM and Miss Erin Frost; Colonel Scott Jamieson CSC and Mrs Anneke Jamieson; Ms Michelle Lees PSM and Mr Mark Hill; Sergeant Kelly Gurski APM and Mrs Nicolle Edwards; Mr Dean Tucker AFSM; Mrs Dianne Tucker; Mrs Barbara Daley OAM and Mr Brian Daley OAM; Mr Edward Monaei OAM and Ms Vanda Simpson; Mrs Suzanne Roberts OAM and Mr Stuart Roberts; Ms Yolande Yorke and Dr Ingrid Tall.
