On Wednesday, in the morning, at Brisbane Botanic Gardens, Mt Coot-tha, Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD attended the Queensland Council of Garden Clubs Christmas Luncheon and Biennial Awards Presentation, where he addressed guests and presented awards.

Following, at Government House, members of Ascot Probus Club visited for a guided tour of the House and gardens.

In the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo hosted a Reception in celebration of the Queensland Performing Art Centre's 40th Anniversary, and the Governor addressed guests.

In the evening, at Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, South Brisbane, Her Excellency attended the Queensland Council of Social Service's 2025 Queensland Community Impact Awards Celebration Dinner, and the Governor addressed guests.
