On Thursday, in the morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD hosted a Community Bushland Walk in partnership with Health and Wellbeing Queensland and the Governor addressed guests.

 

Following at Government House, Her Excellency presided at a meeting of the Executive Council.

 

In the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency hosted an Investiture ceremony for the 2023 Australian Virtus Global Games Team, and the Governor presented the Australian Sports Medal to the team and addressed guests.

 

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo hosted a reception in support of the 29th YMCA Queensland Youth Parliament, and the Governor addressed guests.

 

In the evening, at the Queensland Police Memorial, Brisbane, Her Excellency attended the National Police Remembrance Day Candlelight Vigil and laid the first wreath.
