On Wednesday, in the morning, at Government House, Western Australia, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM attended a Vice-Regal Gathering.

With Her Excellency on Official Travel interstate, the Honourable Justice John Bond assumed duty as Acting Governor of Queensland and the Honourable Justice Debra Mullins AO ceased duty.  

Following, at Government House, students from St Patricks School - Tara and Sacred Heart Primary – Cunnamulla visited for a guided tour of the House and gardens. 

In the afternoon, at Government House, members of the Subtropical Garden Club visited for a guided tour of the gardens.

In the evening, Her Excellency returned to Queensland from Official Travel to Perth, and Her Excellency signed the Proclamation to resume duties as Governor of Queensland.
