On Tuesday, in the morning, at Tobruk Memorial Baths, Townsville, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD toured the facility and met with members of the community.

Following, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo departed Townsville for Hinchinbrook Shire Council.

Following, at Ingham Health Service, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo received a briefing on operations, toured the facility and met with staff and patients.

In the afternoon, at JK’s Delicatessen, Ingham, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended a community lunch with Mayor of Hinchinbrook Shire Council Cr Ramon Jayo, Councillors and members of the local community.

Following, at Hinchinbrook Shire Library, Ingham, Her Excellency hosted an individual Investiture Ceremony for Mr Felix Reitano OAM, and the Governor addressed guests.

Following, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo departed Ingham to Townsville.

In the evening, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo returned to Government House from Official Travel to Townsville City Council and Hinchinbrook Shire Council.
