On Saturday, in the morning, at Townsville Field Training Area, Townsville, Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD attended the Australian Army’s 3rd Armoured Brigade Live Fire Demonstration.

In the afternoon, at The Women’s College, The University of Queensland, St Lucia, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM attended the National Council of Women Queensland’s 2026 Bursary Presentation, and the Governor presented awards and addressed guests.

In the evening, Professor Nimmo returned to Government House from Official Travel to Townsville City Council.
