On Friday, in the morning, at Government House, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM received the Clerk of the Parliament, Mr Neil Laurie, for the presentation of the Electrical Safety and Other Legislation Amendment Bill 2025 for Royal Assent.

Following, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD departed Government House for Official Travel to City of Gold Coast.

Following, at Currumbin Wildlife Hospital, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended the National Trust Queensland's launch of the Currumbin Wildlife Institute and Turning of the Soil Ceremony, and the Governor addressed guests.

In the afternoon, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo returned to Government House from Official Travel to City of Gold Coast.

In the evening, at Queensland Performing Arts Centre, South Brisbane, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended Queensland Ballet’s opening night performance of ‘Messa da Requiem’.
