On Thursday, in the morning, at Sofitel Brisbane Central, Brisbane City, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM officially opened the Protect All Children Today Annual Forum, and the Governor addressed guests.

In the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency hosted a Swearing-in ceremony for the Honourable Justice Susan Brown, the Honourable Justice Thomas Bradley, the Honourable Justice Shane Doyle, the Honourable Justice Soraya Ryan and the Honourable Justice Elizabeth Wilson, enabling them to serve as Acting Governors of Queensland.

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency hosted an afternoon tea attended by Justice Brown, Justice Bradley, Justice Doyle, Justice Ryan, Justice Wilson, the Honourable Ros Bates MP, the Honourable John-Paul Langbroek MP, the Honourable Justice Debra Mullins AO, Official Secretary, Ms Yolande Yorke and Deputy Official Secretary, Mr Scott Allen.

Following, at Government House, Her Excellency hosted a Reception for Guide Dogs Queensland's 65th Anniversary, and the Governor addressed guests.

In the evening, at Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, South Brisbane, Her Excellency attended the 2025 Queensland Sport Awards and Hall of Fame Induction, and the Governor addressed guests.
