On Friday, in the morning, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM departed Government House for Official Travel to Sunshine Coast Council.

Following, at Sunshine Coast Aero Club, Marcoola, Her Excellency attended the official launch of Sunshine Coast Open House 2026, and the Governor addressed guests.

Following, Her Excellency departed Sunshine Coast Council for Official Travel to Noosa Shire Council.

In the afternoon, at Noosa Shire Council Chambers, Tewantin, Her Excellency received a briefing from Mayor, Noosa Shire Council, Councillor Frank Wilkie and Councillors over a working lunch.

Following, at Noosa Shire Council Chambers, Her Excellency met with members of the Business Roundtable, Tourism Noosa Board and Noosa Biosphere Board.

Following, at Cooroy Butter Factory Arts Centre, Her Excellency toured the facility and addressed members of the community at an afternoon tea.

Following, at Cooroora Woodworkers Club, Cooroy, Her Excellency hosted a Private Investiture Ceremony for Mr Charlie Cobb OAM, and the Governor addressed guests.

In the evening, Her Excellency returned to Government House from Official Travel to Noosa Shire Council.
