On Thursday, in the morning, at 1 William Street, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM presided over a meeting of the Executive Council.

In the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD hosted a reception in support of Foodbank Queensland major supporters, and the Governor addressed guests.

In the evening, at Brisbane Jazz Club, Kangaroo Point, Her Excellency and Professor Nimmo attended the reopening of the Brisbane Jazz Club following renovations, and the Governor addressed guests.
