On Wednesday, in the morning, at C3 Lighthouse, Bridgeman Downs, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM attended the Guide Dogs Queensland Annual 2026 Graduation Ceremony, and the Governor addressed guests.

Following, at Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha, Toowong, Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD attended the Queensland Council of Garden Clubs Presidents’ Day, and Professor Nimmo addressed guests.

Following, at Government House, students from Chapel Hill State School visited for a guided tour of the House and gardens. 

In the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency greeted members of Burnie Brae visiting for a guided tour of the House and gardens.
