On Tuesday, in the morning, at the Queensland Police Memorial, Brisbane City, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD attended the National Police Remembrance Day 2026 Memorial Service and laid the first wreath.

In the afternoon, at Government House, Her Excellency hosted a luncheon in support of the 2027 Queensland Rhodes Scholar selection committee and shortlisted candidates, and the Governor addressed guests.
