On Sunday, in the morning, at Baden-Powell Park Scout Campsite, Samford, Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM attended the Scouts Queensland Annual Awards Presentation, and the Governor presented awards and addressed guests.

Following, at Government House, members of the public visited for The Festival of Commonwealth Friendship, hosted by the Victoria League for Commonwealth Friendship with support from the Governor as its Patron.
