March for Arthritis launch walk at Government House

The Governor, in partnership with Health and Wellbeing Queensland and The Arthritis Movement, invites you to take part in a free community walk at the Fernberg Estate on Friday, 27 February 2026, as part of the March for Arthritis campaign.

In keeping with Her Excellency’s pledge to promote a healthier Queensland, this special event will highlight the importance of movement, mindfulness, and connection with nature—all vital for joint health and wellbeing.

This is a wonderful opportunity to explore the historic grounds of Government House while supporting a cause that matters. Together, we can raise awareness of arthritis and encourage healthier communities.

The walk will commence at 9:00am sharp, following a scenic trail through the Estate’s revitalised bushland tracks.

All are welcome—just bring a water bottle, a hat, and your best friend, colleague, or family member. Why not invite them all!
